Our clinicians provide ASAP assessments, treatment recommendations, treatment groups, and individual therapy services to individuals who engage with VASAP. We are here to support you through the substance abuse treatment process and provide services to help you accomplish ASAP requirements.

Here's what you can expect:
On your initial intake with a VASAP office, you will be given options for where to get a substance abuse evaluation/treatment. Ask your VASAP case manager at your first appointment about your options.

If you select Palmetto Cognitive Solutions LLC your VASAP officer will give you a formal referral to us. Once that happens, you can contact Virginia Counseling Services to schedule your evaluation appointment.*

*There are times when your VASAP officer does not send us your referral information. It is advised that you contact us to schedule the evaluation without waiting for VASAP to notify us first.
6-Week Treatment Group
If enrolled, the 6-week substance abuse treatment is $550.00 You will also be required to complete the assessment which is $125.

During your evaluation, we will work with you to find treatment options (if necessary) that will fit your schedule, requirements, and budget.

How much is an assessment?The evaluation costs $150.00 and we require payment prior to the appointment time. We also require any referral documentation regarding charges, including VASAP documentation, prior to the appointment.

Participants are expected to attend an 8-week, 2-hour sessions, with punctuality and active involvement highly encouraged. The program has been extensively researched and is evidence-based, making it a widely accepted treatment cohort by courts. The course is instructed by a skilled licensed professional treatment provider who has fulfilled all requirements of the Board of Counseling and the Commission on Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program.
